Advocacy
ISBA’s Executive Director and General Counsel maintain a high profile at the Indiana Statehouse as registered lobbyists — attending committee meetings, meeting with lawmakers, working toward passage of ISBA bills, and tracking K-12 education legislation.

Legislative Communications
The Association keeps board members informed via weekly email updates sent every Friday while the General Assembly is in session, plus a weekly video of the top three things to know.

Grassroots Engagement
ISBA’s grassroots legislative program unites school boards in advocacy that shapes education issues at the Statehouse. Speaking with one voice dramatically increases our influence, supported by advocacy training materials.
