Rossville has been fortunate to team up with ISBA. Their Comprehensive Policy Management Services are instrumental in guiding our policy development and ensuring our policies are up-to-date, on point, and necessary. I have been extremely pleased with the service and hold it in high regard.

ISBA's conferences and seminars have been extremeely helpful to me as a school board member in understanding educational issues. Their events have better prepared me to serve my constituents, including students, and address the challenges we face. And honestly, they're an enjoyable way to continue my own development.

As a first year school board member, the ISBA's New Board Member Academy training sessions were crucial for making some very complex issues much more understandable. My predecessor told me when I was campaigning that it would take a year before being on the school board would make any sense. The reality is the ISBA and the New Board Member Academy spec up my learning process and my effectiveness on the board.

I've always found ISBA's Fall Conference to be timely and relevant. There are lots of moving pieces to being a school board member. Things can change quickly in education. ISBA helps keep me informed and in the know, allowing me to be more effective. I encourage all school board members, new and experienced, to attend ISBA events.
